Turns out, one of the drawbacks of being vegan is actually a hidden benefit. Eating a plant based diet means getting lots of healthy fibers in your system all the time. Potatoes, beans and rice are a good chunk of what vegans eat on the regular basis. So, without eating thick and sludgy foods like cheese, milk and eggs; our bodies are free to process what we eat relatively quickly. This is great news! Who wants leftover junk sitting in their stomach for days on end?
